Nicole Donahue graduated from the Accelerated Masters Program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont (UVM) in 2023. Nicole’s interest in biomechanics lie in understanding mechanisms that improve rehabilitation and recovery. She works as a research scientist focusing on developing digital biomarkers and therapeutics for improving human health and optimizing performance. She is also involved in developing wearable technologies to increase healthcare access to rural communities. Nicole often finds inspiration in interdisciplinary collaboration and is a self-starter dedicated to making an impact on the healthcare industry.
Apart from all things science, Nicole loves finding new ways to stay fit, volunteering and playing the flute. During her time at UVM, she played in the Concert Band and Flute Choir from 2018 to 2022 and was a Peer Note Taker from 2019 to 2021.
